The ones that did the theory straight after their CPLs found it was one less thing to worry about trying to get while searching for work. how to find out speaker polarity without seeing the speaker In order to work as a commercial or airline pilot, you need to obtain a CPL –a commercial pilot licence– and pass the ATPL theory test (giving you a frozen ATPL until you reach the required flight hours). Once you have these, you can fly for an airline. Finally, once you reach the minimum flight experience required, you will receive your full ATPL licence.
